BioWell, let's see. My name is Ella, I live in a small town called Frell where I attend Community College. I'm currently engaged to Prince Char(mant) and could be attending a bigger school in Lamia, but I want to graduate with Areida (best friend) and it won't be much longer. Plus, the Prince Char fanclub is smaller here and probably won't kill me before I have a chance to graduate.
Thankfully, my stepsisters and their mother are gone due to an impending divorce (thank goodness for Slannen and other Elvish lawyers). My father is still looking for a better job though. Mandy (my house fairy) is happier though now that Benny (her boyfriend) is no longer a book.
Yeah, it's a long story. Really I'm just happy that the giants, ogres and elves have been given more rights and more freedoms and that I'm in love.
All in all, you could say I'm fairly content despite being cursed.
Or somewhat cursed. It's on and off, now-a-days. I tend to still do stupid things as a result of it. Taking hikes, jumping in lakes, biting people. The stuff I didn't mind doing. Well, not really. I'll overcome it gradually. Lucinda (fairy who gave curse) still won't help me out.
((ooc: This is a role-play/fiction journal. Ella is not in fact a real person. She is based off of the film starring Anne Hathaway because I happen to enjoy the film as much as the book and just felt the movie-verse would be more fun for the purposes of TM.
Her being engaged and not married to Char is for similar reasons. As for her curse, Ella probably won't tell anyone what it is right away though chances are others could find out after getting to know her. I figure, it's not very interesting if she doesn't have the curse.
For those unfamiliar with either the book or movie of Ella Enchanted, her curse is the gift of obedience. She'll do what anyone tells her to do. Caution however is advised as it's doubtful that she would do anything to cause more than emotional harm to herself or others. Killing, for example, is pretty much out of the question. ))
